From broken to whole—a journey of resilience, healing, and purpose.
I know what it's like to feel abandoned, unseen, and unworthy.
At two years old, I was left behind. By fifteen, I was trapped in an abusive relationship with a predator. By eighteen, I was a single mother searching desperately for belonging—first in a church that would betray me, then in relationships that couldn't heal me.
For decades, I lived in survival mode. I gave away my power, silenced my voice, and believed the lie that I was broken beyond repair. I sought love, safety, and worth in all the wrong places—in men who couldn't see me, in institutions that silenced me, in roles that required me to disappear.
"But through the pain, I discovered something unexpected: the person I'd been searching for my whole life was already within me."
Through solitude, I learned to stop running. Through silence, I learned to listen. Through stillness, I found my way home—not to a place, but to myself.
Today, I help women do the same.
I guide women who've experienced trauma, abandonment, and loss to find their way back to themselves—to reclaim their voice, trust their intuition, and discover the wholeness that's always been there, waiting beneath the pain.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not about becoming someone new, but remembering who you were before the world taught you shame and suffering.
I blend personal storytelling, practical tools, and hard-won wisdom to create a path that honors your unique journey. My approach combines:
Through my book, blog, and Quiet Path community, I offer the guidance I wish I'd had—compassionate, real, and rooted in hard-won truth.
When I'm not writing or mentoring, you'll find me taking walks in nature (my church), spending time with my daughters and grandchildren, or sitting in quiet reflection with a cup of coffee and a good book, streaming my favorite TV series, or at a local club shooting pool and socializing.
I've learned that healing is not a destination but a practice. Some days are easier than others. But every day, I choose to honor the journey—to be present with what is, to trust the process, and to remember that I am already wholeness at my core.
"The same little girl who once longed for love has become the woman who helps others discover it within themselves. That, to me, is redemption."
I'm honored to walk this path with you.
